New Jersey Toyotas

It’s official.  Sarah and I now own two cars registered in the state of New Jersey.  I drove up the 95 corolla this past weekend and have been busy getting it all legal here in Jersey, including putting on a front license plate, which meant I had to drill some holes in the front bumper.  Anyway, it makes me a little sad to see New Jersey plates on such a good North Carolina car, but my only hope is that they’ll give the car some magic protection against the winter and keep it running for at least two more years.  Here are some pictures of the sadness…

Notice how I blacked out the license plate because I know our readership is so incredibly large. Plus that's what cool people do.

For those of you who read this blog because of Sarah (most of you), she’ll be adding an update about this past weekend before too long.  And by the way, just to set the record straight, I won over 50 percent of our contests at ESPN zone.  I would have won them all but I didn’t want Sarah to feel bad…

un año!

well, my friends, we have made it to our one year anniversary! kind of crazy… but such a cool landmark. we’ve been REALLY busy, which is our excuse for not keeping the blog updated… but the world of my gym and hebrew isn’t the most intriguing subject to write on. SO, we wanted to wait for something cool. like being married for a year, so here we go…

its best to just review it with pictures, because they are after all, worth a thousand words.

saturday aug 8th, we took the train to the city for the night!

and so was our first anniversary. it was so cool. we’ve been through alot in the past year, but the lord has remained so faithful to us. we’re excited about many, many more years to come….

we’re off to winston salem this weekend for two fun occasions. first (and dare i say, most importantly), we will be celebrating my 24th birthday! i have an unnatural obsession with birthdays so i am SUPER excited to see the people i love! its pretty much my favorite day of the year. aug 15 should be a national holiday i think. AND the other (pretty important) thing we are going for is that nick is preaching at his home church 1st pres, winston salem on sunday! i am so excited to hear him, and i know he’s been seeking the lord on what to say… but i just know it is going to be a great weekend for us both…

SO. until then. we miss you guys. and it was 90 degrees today in the jerz. i didnt even think that was possible.
